Guidewire Automation Tester

About this role:
We are seeking an experienced Guidewire automation tester to join our team. As a Guidewire automation tester, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated test scripts for UI, API, and integration testing using tools like Playwright or Cypress.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Aligning test scripts with acceptance criteria and user stories to ensure effective testing;
- Executing automated tests, logging defects with detailed reproduction steps, and participating in defect triage;
- Contribution to the automation regression suite and maintenance of automation assets;
- Collaboration with developers and senior QA engineers to resolve issues efficiently and follow automation best practices;
- Preparation and maintenance of Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) to track and report QA metrics such as defect rates, test coverage, and productivity.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- 1–3 years of experience in Guidewire functional and automation testing;
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Guidewire policy center projects;
- Hands-on experience with type-script automation tools or JavaScript based frameworks like Cypress or Selenium;
- Experience in working with Git Repository and independently handling Test Code issue resolution, updates & Debugging;
- Exposure to QA lifecycle tools like JIRA or equivalent.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
We welcome applicants who have exposure to unit testing and mobile testing, as well as experience in improving test coverage and test strategy.
