Business Partnering & HR Strategy

We are seeking a Business Partnering & HR Strategy professional to support fast-growing e-commerce startups in India. The role will focus on building strategic partnerships, ensuring compliance, managing talent acquisition, employee engagement, and driving HR best practices in a dynamic startup environment.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in business partnering, talent management, and performance optimization. They will work closely with founders and leadership teams to design and implement HR strategies that align with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement business partnering frameworks for fast-growth organizations.
  • Design and execute talent acquisition strategies to attract top talent.
  • Drive end-to-end recruitment – from sourcing and shortlisting to onboarding.
  • Develop and manage employee engagement initiatives to foster a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Set up performance management systems including OKRs/KPIs and appraisal cycles.
  • Manage HR compliance with labor laws, ESIC, PF, and other statutory requirements.
  • Provide strategic HR insights for scaling the workforce while maintaining startup agility.
  • Support training and development programs to upskill employees.
  • Handle employee relations, grievance redressal, and conflict resolution.

Requirements:

  • MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent qualification.
  • 7–12 years' HR experience, with strong exposure to startups or e-commerce.
  • Proven expertise in business partnering, talent management, and performance optimization.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws and HR compliance.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fractional/consulting capacity across multiple startups.

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday (requiring upto 10hr commitment every week)
