Software Asset Optimization Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead our Software Asset Management initiatives.
- To effectively manage software assets, the successful candidate will be responsible for creating, updating, tracking, monitoring, and maintaining software licenses within our asset management database.
- The ideal candidate will also monitor application usage and report compliance of software usage.
Licenses Management: The role involves highlighting opportunities to reclaim unused or restricted software.
Risk Assessment: Analyze client contracts and possess intermediate knowledge of major publishers (Microsoft, IBM, Adobe, Oracle etc) to identify areas of risk and establish a software license compliance position for clients.
Client Interaction: Interact directly with clients and other internal sources to obtain relevant data and documents in required forms and consistent with project objectives and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Experience in license optimization and re-harvesting.
- Assess data accuracy and reasonableness, following up directly with clients to achieve necessary understanding and resolve licensing anomalies.
- Ensure quality and timely delivery of customer requirements.
Other Duties: Other software asset management duties as assigned.
