Project Coordinator Role

About This Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled project coordinator to oversee the coordination of design projects related to packaging, labeling, and artwork. Your expertise in project management methodologies and tools will enable you to create and manage project schedules, allocate resources effectively, and track progress.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and maintain accurate project timelines
  • Effectively allocate design tasks to team members based on their skills and availability
  • Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to deadlines
  • Identify and address potential bottlenecks in project workflow

In partnership with the Design Realization Manager lead, you will assess the availability and workload of design resources, assign designers to projects based on their skills and availability, and ensure designers have the necessary tools, information, and resources to complete their work effectively.

You will act as the central point of contact for design project inquiries and updates, fostering effective communication and collaboration between design teams, project managers, business partners, vendors, and other stakeholders. You will also resolve conflicts or issues related to project priorities, requirements, or resources.

Quality assurance is critical in this role. You will follow a process for reviewing design deliverables to ensure they meet quality standards and project specifications, provide feedback and guidance to designers for continuous improvement, and implement quality control processes to maintain consistency and excellence in design work.

To excel in this position, you must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational skills, leadership qualities, and the ability to think critically and make informed decisions to improve project efficiency. Creativity in finding innovative ways to optimize design workflows and processes is highly valued.
