Quality Assurance Specialist Job Description

Murf AI empowers users to craft high-quality voiceovers effortlessly, without the need for recording equipment.

This includes testing Murf's products—from new feature releases to ongoing enhancements—while also ensuring our platforms meet digital accessibility standards. This involves proactively identifying potential failure points through various data models, championing test automation where possible, and acting as the ultimate gatekeeper before any feature goes live.

  • Prepare comprehensive test design templates and plans
  • Document test cases and track issues in a dedicated platform
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, support teams, and other functional team members

Key qualifications include a bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, 3-4 years of experience working and testing software applications, and a good understanding of white/black box testing, smoke testing, sanity testing, and regression testing.

Additional desired skills include experience working with trackers such as Jira/Sentry/Redmine/Bugzilla/, debugging skills, and ability to influence the development team to fix backlog bugs.
