Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Governance Specialist to join our team. This role involves handling administrative matters of client companies, developing relationships, and managing client teams to ensure client files are in good legal and financial standing.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Prepare corporate documents such as directors' resolutions, powers of attorney, and other legal documents for client companies.
  • Participate in the incorporation and termination processes of companies.
  • Provide fee quotations and charge fees accordingly.
  • Monitor productivity and chargeability, reviewing performance against targets to meet individual financial and client targets.
  • Understand client activities and ensure actions taken align with company purposes within legal and economic frameworks.
  • Manage companies, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information in client files (CIS and Cabinet).
  • Assure companies are capitalized and management agreements are available in client files.
  • Work closely with managers to maintain the client database, ensuring it is updated and accurate. Provide advice on complex requests.
  • Develop and update legal manuals and procedures, contributing to system development and maintenance.
  • Prepare monthly reports for the Management Team and work on assigned projects.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Law or Economics/Qualified Company Secretary.
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in legal and corporate/company management services.
  • Strong commercial mindset, taking initiative, positive, proactive, dedicated, focused, and revenue and target driven.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Excellent client-facing skills, with well-developed spoken and written communication skills and ability to tailor style to relevant audiences.
  • Excellent English language fluency, additional languages preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, solution-driven, highly organized, and detail-oriented with good decision-making and time management skills.
  • Independent, hands-on, and accountable for delivering solutions and results.
  • Ability to adapt and work in a dynamic local team environment, with leadership and team player skills.
