Job Opportunity: Head of Safety - High Speed Rail

  • We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our safety team and ensure the well-being of employees and stakeholders in a high-risk environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement effective safety strategies to minimize risk and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  2. Lead high-performing teams in crisis situations and provide guidance on emergency response procedures
  3. Maintain accurate records of safety incidents and audits, identifying areas for improvement
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate safety protocols into project plans and operations

Requirements:

  • 19+ years of experience in EHS roles within industrial construction
  • Background in working with EPC contracting organizations
  • B.E./B.Tech degree or equivalent
  • Certifications in NEBOSH / IOSH / ISO 45001 or 14001 Auditor preferred
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to manage high-risk environments
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
