High Speed Design Engineer Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a High Speed Design Engineer. We are seeking an experienced engineer who can design and develop high-speed boards, with a focus on complex designs and high component density.

The ideal candidate will have 4-10 years of experience in high-speed board design, with a strong background in electronics and electrical engineering. They should be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills and the ability to train junior engineers.

We are looking for someone with experience in full product development cycles, from concept to manufacturing. The successful candidate will also have worked on complex FPGA-based board designs and have a good understanding of DC-DC power supply design and high-speed interfaces.

In addition to their technical skills, the ideal candidate will be self-motivated, proactive, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines. They should also be able to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop high-speed boards with complex designs and high component density
  • Work on full product development cycles, from concept to manufacturing
  • Develop and implement high-speed interface designs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution

Requirements:

  • 4-10 years of experience in high-speed board design
  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering
  • Experience with Orcad Capture/Concept HDL (Cadence Allegro V17.2 or higher)
  • Strong understanding of DC-DC power supply design and high-speed interfaces
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Intel or similar high-end SoC design
  • Knowledge of high-speed interfaces such as PCIe, SATA, and DDR3/4/5
  • Experience with FPGA-based board design and validation
