Job Overview:

  • Summary: This role requires a seasoned Ruby on Rails developer with extensive experience in building scalable web applications. We are seeking an expert who can effectively lead and contribute to the development of complex projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Technical Proficiency: 10+ years of professional experience in Ruby on Rails development, strong knowledge of Ruby on Rails, Sinatra, Kafka, ZooKeeper, Thrift or similar messaging/streaming platforms, SOLR for search, AWS services (SQS, hosting, cloud infrastructure), security practices including bot mitigation (e.g., Cloudflare).
  • Programming Skills: Hands-on experience with performance tuning, debugging and troubleshooting skills using Datadog for infrastructure monitoring.
  • Agile Development: Experience working in agile development environments and possessing excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred but not mandatory skills include experience with healthcare technology platforms.
