Job Overview:

The Project Costing Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing project costs for large-scale undertakings by analyzing architectural drawings, estimating expenses, conducting rate analysis, and preparing Bills of Material.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Estimation and Planning: Interpret architectural designs and prepare comprehensive cost estimations using Revit/AutoCAD for planning and estimation purposes.
  • Liaison with Stakeholders: Collaborate with vendors, analyze costs, and manage procurement inquiries to ensure project profitability.
  • Site Visits and Validation: Conduct site visits to understand challenges and validate costs.
  • Tracking Progress: Monitor project progress and maintain updated pricing information.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Document best practices and ensure compliance with company policies.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years experience in project costing/estimation (construction preferred).
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Revit, AutoCAD.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently.
  • BE in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical or equivalent; MBA preferred.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
