Project Lead

This is a part-time position that offers a hybrid work model – combining remote work and in-person site visits or office meetings as required.

  • Oversee all phases of commercial ICI construction projects from pre-construction to closeout, ensuring seamless project delivery.
  • Develop comprehensive project work plans, schedules, and milestones; provide regular updates to stakeholders through detailed reporting.
  • Guarantee compliance with contract scope, safety standards, budget controls, and quality requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate closely with site supervisors to monitor on-site progress, address any field issues promptly, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation using industry-standard construction management software.
  • Handle all project administration tasks efficiently, including submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, change orders, site instructions, deficiency reports, and closeout packages.
  • Prepare thorough cost estimates, bid packages, and tender submissions for ICI projects, considering market conditions and client needs.
  • Issue and manage purchase orders for subcontractors and suppliers effectively, ensuring timely payments and minimizing delays.
  • Track subcontractor invoices accurately and prepare project billing and progress claims in a timely manner.
  • Implement strict budget control measures to identify cost-effective solutions and optimize project outcomes.
  • Represent the organization at project meetings with clients, consultants, and stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and open communication channels.
  • Address project challenges and conflicts proactively to prevent delays and ensure successful project completion.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Education and Certifications:
