Job Opportunity:

Seeking a skilled professional to assume the role of PMS Analyst, responsible for enhancing the efficiency and productivity of shipping companies by analyzing various aspects of the PMS system, identifying gaps between user requirements and features, and providing input to the development team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare documents as per need based on analyzed data from PMS and other modules, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Understand and document client requirements to ensure seamless implementation.
  • Analyze functional aspects of developed modules and produce desired reports or outcomes.
  • Contribute to training internal and external users on PMS and related modules.
  • Create software-related documents as per team requirements.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Attend vessel visits for implementation, issue fixing, and training purposes.
  • Assist vessels with data collection and update of PMS data onboard.
  • Train shipboard personnel on software and other modules.
  • Provide support to vessels/remote offices for PMS and related modules.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 3rd/4th engineer or equivalent with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Shore experience in a shipping management company with an educational background in naval architecture and marine engineering.
  • Experience and deep understanding of enterprise computing needs of ship management companies.
  • Strong organizational skills covering project management and cost analysis.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Excellent typing and analyzing skills.
  • Self-motivated, independent, and meticulous with an eye for detail.
  • Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
