Risk Management Professional

We are seeking an experienced Risk and Compliance expert to lead our strategy, business case analysis, transformation programs, technology enablement, and risk compliance initiatives.

The successful candidate will possess strong business acumen, knowledge of risk management processes, and excellent communication skills. They will be able to build sales pipelines through business development and proposals, solve complex business problems, and deliver client satisfaction.

The role requires hands-on experience in Value-at-Risk (VaR), Stress VaR (SVaR), Internal Rating-Based (IRC) and Credit Risk Modeling (CRM) calculations for various financial instruments, as well as a thorough understanding of new regulations in the Market Risk management space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver risk and compliance strategies
  • Build sales pipelines through business development and proposals
  • Solve complex business problems and deliver client satisfaction
  • Develop risk registers, conduct Risk Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs), and define Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) for risk management and control indicators
  • Manage financial crime and compliance with a focus on fraud risk management

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience in VaR/SVaR/IRC/CRM calculations
  • Thorough understanding of new regulations in Market Risk management
  • Treasury experience in Asset Liability Management, Fund Transfer Pricing, and Interest Rate Risk in Banking Book
  • Strong understanding of risk regulatory framework of one or more major economies across the globe
