Environmental Compliance and Risk Management Specialist

Overview
We are seeking an Environmental Compliance and Risk Management Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our organization is in compliance with all relevant environmental regulations and laws.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective environmental compliance strategies to minimize risk and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas of non-compliance and develop corrective action plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate environmental considerations into business decisions.
- Provide training and education to employees on environmental policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and other stakeholders to stay informed of changing environmental regulations and trends.
Qualifications/Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in environmental compliance and risk management, preferably in an industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and laws, including OSHA, EPA, and ISO standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
