IP Protection and Portfolio Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our organization in Mumbai, India. The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end IP protection, including:

Strategizing Intellectual Property Protection

The ideal candidate will develop and implement effective strategies for protecting iconic brands, supporting innovation in products and designs, and mitigating risks by structuring process check points in the product development cycle.

Patents Management Expertise
  • Advise on patentability, freedom to operate, and drafting specifications for techno-legal aspects of inventions.
  • Examination of patents, preparing responses to examination reports, and managing hearings before patent examiners.
  • Conduct exploratory searches, supporting development teams with aspects related to patents filed by third parties.
Brands Management Services
  • Conducting comprehensive trademark availability searches, providing advisory on registration, and promptly conducting trademark watch services.
  • Registration of trademarks in India and across the globe, coordinating with stakeholders.
Designs Management Team
  • Conducting thorough Freedom to Operate analyses, advising business on design registrations, and ensuring timely renewals of designs.
  • Design prosecution management, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
Portfolio Management System
  • Managing different IPR portfolios, updating records, and tracking from time to time.
  • Life cycle management of IPR portfolio, archival, and retrieval of IPR documents.
  • Conducting IPR awareness training programs.
Counterfeit Actions Division
  • Acting on leads provided by external agencies or stakeholders, initiating action promptly.
  • Conducting raids through external agencies, developing information networks, and reporting counterfeit activities.
