Job Title: Engineering Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team as a seasoned Engineering Manager. As a leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and deployment of high-quality products.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely and successful delivery of Product Features by employing Agile Methodologies and leveraging the Scrum framework.
  • Collaborate with Product, QA, and Operations teams to guarantee seamless delivery, optimal Platform Uptime, and effective Management of Technical Debt.
  • Support and collaborate with Product Management teams to define Product Strategy and achieve Product vision.
  • Participate in Backlog Refinement and assist Product Management Teams with User Story Prioritization.
  • Participate in Sprint Planning along with Product Teams and Technical Leads to determine Sprint scope, goal, and deliverables.
  • Define, Deploy, and Improve SDLC processes in coordination with Product and QA Teams.
  • Assign tasks to team members and monitor Sprint progress to ensure timely completion.
  • Ensure team conducts Unit Testing and Peer Code Reviews are done.
  • Send periodic updates on Sprint Progress.
  • Identify bottlenecks to sprint schedule and address them in a timely manner.
  • Support Production Support Teams in addressing Production issues and meeting Service Level Agreements.
  • Collaborate with Technical Architects to participate in development and deployment of Platform Architecture aligned with Product Vision.
  • Deploy and Institutionalise AI Assisted Coding tools and guidelines for use.
  • Build and develop a high-performing team by hiring, onboarding, coaching, and timely upskilling.
  • Define Goals and objectives and conduct performance reviews for the team.
  • Send Weekly Reports for Executive Teams.
