Job Title: Desktop Support Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Desktop Support Specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals, as well as installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows and macOS operating systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Support: Provide day-to-day technical support for Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
  • System Administration: Install, update, and patch software applications and security tools, and manage user accounts, groups, and permissions using Active Directory.
  • Hardware and Software Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot hardware issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals, and basic network issues (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi) and VPN connectivity problems.
  • Network Configuration: Perform basic configuration and support of network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls, and assist in IP address configuration and network printer setup.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Document technical issues, solutions, and IT processes accurately, and respond to IT support tickets, ensuring timely and effective resolution.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role.
