About the Role
Magic Bus India Foundation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing our organization's strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with our mission and vision.
Key Responsibilities
- Support in developing and writing grant proposals that are critical to our scale-up strategy
- Shape our organization's strategic initiatives and manage critical large-scale grants
- Develop a comprehensive research plan and a long-term strategy that fuels our impactful journey
- Map existing internal and external research services, global data, and in-country/regional sources relevant to life skills, education, livelihoods, skilling, and placements, evidence building, and thought leadership
- Produce insights and recommendations to improve the impact and effectiveness of our work
- Partner with our Leadership team and Management team to identify and bridge data gaps
- Design an effective measurement mechanism to monitor performance on critical KPIs
- Present analytical results and insights, including recommendations to support reaching goals set out by our 5-year strategy
- Assess market trends and competitors, identifying threats and opportunities, presenting findings, projections, and recommended actions
Requirements
- MBA/CA/MPP with a penchant for the Development Sector, or a burning passion to contribute to it
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the development sector, be it as a full-time champion, a volunteer virtuoso, or a fellowship fellow
- Masterful data interpreter, turning raw information into strategic insights
- Demonstrated experience in project management and balancing priorities
- Proven effectiveness working in a team-based environment, but capable also of working independently
