Highly Experienced Mainframe Automation Professional

Seeking an experienced mainframe automation specialist with expertise in automating mainframe operations, monitoring, and batch processes.
- Design, implement, and maintain automation scripts and jobs on mainframe environments.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, operations, and application teams to integrate automation solutions.
- Develop best practices and reusable automation frameworks for mainframe operations.
- Monitor system performance and implement proactive automation to reduce manual interventions.
- 8–10 years of hands-on experience in mainframe operations and automation.
- Strong programming/scripting skills in REXX, JCL, and CLIST.
- Experience with automation tools such as CA OPS/MVS, IBM System Automation, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of mainframe systems: z/OS, DB2, CICS, IMS, MQ.
- Good understanding of scheduling tools like Control-M, CA7, or Tivoli.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

- Experience with DevOps and modern automation practices.
- Knowledge of cloud or hybrid mainframe environments.
