Mainframe Developer

Job Overview:

We seek an experienced Mainframe Developer to fill a critical role within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Familiarity with mainframe architecture and operations, including proficiency in OS, JCL scripts, TSO/ISPF, RACF, SDSF, programming languages (COBOL, PL/I, Assembler, REXX), database management (DB2, IMS), problem-solving, networking, system utilities, and performance tuning.
  • Designing, developing, and maintaining complex mainframe applications, ensuring high-quality code and optimal performance.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and design solutions.
  • Maintaining detailed technical documentation of developed systems and processes.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in mainframe development, with a focus on z/OS and related technologies.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for resolving system issues.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
