Employment Law Expert - Seeking Talented Senior Associate

The role we are seeking to fill is a senior associate position in our employment law practice. The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of Indian labour laws and regulations.

  • Provide expert advice on employment contracts, HR policies, compensation structures, and termination matters to domestic and multinational clients.
  • Advise clients on industrial disputes, disciplinary proceedings, and employee misconduct.
  • Carry out internal investigations and assist with Labour Court representation as required.
  • Develop and implement workforce structuring strategies, transfers, and retrenchment plans.
  • Conduct thorough audits and due diligence for mergers and acquisitions transactions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including litigation, corporate, and compliance teams.
Key Responsibilities

Our ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • LL.B. from a reputable Indian law school.
  • 7-12 years of post-qualification experience in a top-tier law firm or leading in-house legal department.
  • Strong command of Indian labour laws, case law developments, and expertise in handling sensitive investigations.
  • Excellent research, drafting, and analytical skills.
  • Business-oriented mindset with exceptional client-handling skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments independently and under deadlines.
  • Team player with a collaborative working style.
