About the Position

  • We are seeking a seasoned Water Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will contribute to large-scale project teams in an engineering design capacity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to engineering design assignments, working closely with team members on complex projects.
  • 10+ years of experience in water infrastructure design is essential, with a strong background in tools like Civil 3D and MicroStation.
  • Proficiency in modeling tools such as Water GEMS, Sewer GEMS, Storm CAD, PCSWMM, HEC-RAS, and Geo Pak would be beneficial.
  • Design expertise in wet utilities, including potable water, stormwater drainage, treated sewage effluent, and sewerage networks, using AutoCAD 2D and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Provide technical support for designers on relocation, asset tagging, connection drawings, standard drawings, and other tasks.
  • Experience in clash analysis using Navisworks and working within a Common Data Environment (CDE) such as ProjectWise and BIM 360.
  • Lead projects, coordinate with lead offices, mentor junior team members, and ensure quality checks.
  • Train design staff on Building Information Modeling systems and provide technical support.
  • Participate in concept development, preliminary and detailed engineering drawing creation, general and drainage plan drawings, section drawings, detail drawings, earthworks modeling, sanitary and storm sewer design, watermain design, grading of roads and drive isles, lot grading, and stormwater management design.

Requirements

  • MEng or equivalent degree in an appropriate engineering discipline from an accredited institution.
  • Chartered Engineer (CEng) or Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification from a global organization.
  • Strong communication skills, ability to work independently, and enthusiasm for learning and adapting to change.
  • US/UK/Canada experience is desirable.
  • Able to analyze situations, identify problems, and develop solutions.
  • Accuracy, precision, accountability, willingness to learn, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
