Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Water Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to engineering design assignments in a team environment on large-scale project teams.

  • The ideal candidate will have minimum 2 years of working experience on wastewater modeling for ANZ and UK & I regions, with expertise in model calibration and verification.
  • They should be well-versed in Infoworks ICM hydraulic modeling software and have hands-on experience with modeling tools like Water GEMS, Sewer GEMS, StormCAD, PCSWMM, HEC-RAS, and Geo Pak.
  • The candidate will be capable of leading projects, coordinating with lead offices, mentoring juniors, and ensuring quality checks.
  • They will be responsible for complete design activities to specified standards, including earthworks modeling and design, sanitary and storm sewer design, watermain design, grading of roads and drive isles, lot grading, and storm water management design of ponds and other retention systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to engineering design assignments in a team environment on large-scale project teams.
  • Lead projects and coordinate with lead offices.
  • Mentor junior engineers and ensure quality checks.
  • Design activities to specified standards, including earthworks, sanitary, storm, and watermain designs.

Requirements:

  • Master of Engineering degree (or equivalent education) in an appropriate engineering discipline from an accredited college or university.
  • Chartered Engineer (CEng), or Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent in the relevant field from any global organization.
  • Highly motivated, hardworking, interpersonal, and enthusiastic team player with good communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently at times and take a birds-eye view of projects.
  • Confident, with the ability to work either independently or as part of a team.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • US/UK/Canada Experience will be added advantage.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Enthusiastic and self-motivated individual who can work well within a multidisciplinary team.
