About The Role

We are seeking a skilled Senior Electrical Designer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating detailed electrical designs and drawings for new construction and renovations to existing water treatment facilities, water booster pump stations, wastewater pump stations, and wastewater treatment facilities.

  • The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in the wastewater/water industry, with expertise in designing/drafting various components of wastewater treatment systems like ASP, MBBR, SBR, MBR, Digesters, Solids Handling systems, etc.
  • Experience in assisting Project Engineers/Sr. Engineers on various design tasks/deliverables is essential, including preparing detailed electrical design and drawings.
  • You will also be responsible for providing design, production, and documentation for electrical power and distribution systems, lighting, fire alarm systems, etc.
  • Developing electrical drawings for water infrastructure projects using AutoCAD, REVIT, and BIM is a must.
  • Production of tender documents such as P&IDs, single line diagrams, control network diagrams, electrical hazardous area & grounding drawings, electrical and instrument location drawings, loop & schematic wiring diagrams, and standard details.
  • Strictly adhere to project CADD standards, including capability of learning and adopting clients' standard and requirements upon request.
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and quality of technical aspects on project documentation produced in accordance with QA/QC procedures and the clients' standards.
  • Taking direction from Engineers and Project Leads is required.
  • Ensuring that project deliverables are produced in a timely manner to expected quality and allocated budget is crucial.
  • Efficiently and effectively handling multiple tasks independently is essential.
  • Providing mentoring and support for junior cad technicians.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Diploma (or equivalent education) in an appropriate engineering discipline from an accredited college, institute, or university.
  • Drafting course from a recognized institute.
  • Working experience using REVIT, Autocad, and Microstation.
  • Professional registration in your designated home office country or be in active pursuit of such registration.
