Job Description:

Dar Al-Handasah is seeking a highly skilled Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our Water and Environment Department.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing design calculations related to wet utilities such as potable water, sewer, stormwater and highway drainage using governing engineering formulas and skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform detailed analyses calculations related to wet utilities.
  • General Arrangements, Layouts, plans & profiles.
  • Research and prepare design options and documents.
  • Prepares engineering computations, quantity takeoffs, specifications and designs.
  • Provides technical guidance to CAD Designers and junior Engineers working on the same project.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or relevant field.
  • 8-16 years of relevant work experience in infrastructure engineering design particularly water, wastewater and storm drainage networks with progressively increasing responsibility.
  • Previous modelling development experience using Sewer Gems, Water Gems, HEC-HMS, HEC RAS, InfoWorks ICM, WS Pro, Civil 3D, Navisworks, etc…
  • Experience working in a multi-disciplinary consultancy.
  • Strong report writing skills, with the ability to write clear and concise reports.
  • Excellent presentation skills, written and verbal communication, initiative, motivation and a team player.
