Job Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities

• Strategy: Understanding of business objectives and awareness of the Group's strategy.

• Business Operations: Manage risk events in line with the Assess, Analyse, Act (AAA) process.

• Process Management: Oversee and resolve alerts cases, following the Correspondent Banking framework to process risk events.

• Talent Development: Promote a culture of openness, trust, and risk awareness, ensuring ethical conduct is the norm.

• Risk Analysis: Identify and report significant financial crime risk events, applying Group policies and processes to manage risks.

• Governance: Ensure senior management are informed of serious regulatory breaches or risk tolerances being breached, taking swift action to remediate and/or cease activities.

• Regulatory Compliance: Demonstrate exemplary conduct, upholding the Group's Values and Code of Conduct. Take personal responsibility for embedding high standards of ethics and compliance across Standard Chartered Bank.

• Strong understanding of business strategy and operations.

• Ability to manage risk events and oversee process management.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively and effectively identify, escalate, mitigate, and resolve risk and compliance matters.
