Job Title:

IT Support Specialist

Description:

We are seeking a skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to computer hardware and peripherals.

The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair technical problems or issues related to computer hardware and peripheral equipment
  • Respond to program error messages by finding and correcting problems or terminating the program
  • Provide technical guidance and recommendations to resolve business problems
  • Refer major hardware/software problems or defective products to vendors or technicians for service
  • Enter commands and activate controls on computer and peripheral equipment (e.g., printers) to integrate and operate equipment

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • 1-2 years of experience in IT support
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware and software
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
