Cloud Professional

A Cloud Professional is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud computing systems on Microsoft Azure. They play a crucial role in ensuring the secure and efficient operation of cloud infrastructure.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Infrastructure Management: Manage cloud infrastructure services such as VMs, DBs, Storage accounts, Application Gateways, Load balancers, AKS, VNETs, WAF, and DevOps components.
  • Azure Expertise: Highly proficient in Microsoft Azure with experience in installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Firewall Configuration: Experience in firewall rule configuration is an added advantage.
  • Backup and Disaster Recovery: Knowledge of Azure services used for Backup and Disaster Recovery.
  • Tenant Management: Experience deploying and managing Azure tenants, subscriptions, resources, resource groups, NSG, etc.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 2 to 4 years relevant experience in administrating azure IaaS, PaaS & SaaS services.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certifications: ITIL Foundations Certification, AZ 104, Azure Developer, Azure DevOps Engineer.
  • Additional Technology Areas: Linux, PowerShell, BASH, Cloud platform specific automation tooling, additional scripting languages, additional software development languages, data experience, networking experience.
