As a Network Specialist, you will be responsible for deploying and planning network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create detailed plans for technology changes to support data center services
  • Develop LAN infrastructure to meet end-user service requirements
  • Incorporate patching schedules for facilities to ensure cable network equipment functionality
  • Design network diagrams for operations
  • Maintain inventory records
  • Develop high-level implementation plans for RFCs
  • Document pre and post-checks for change verification purposes
  • Understand and document back-out plans, clearly identifying critical points
  • Identify points of no return
  • Sustain the stability and uptime of essential services by planning changes with a documented best approach
  • Identify opportunities for zero-downtime changes to hosted services
  • Implement changes with an effective resource strategy
  • Assess and document change risks and mitigation tactics
  • Maintain network documentation for operation support and change planning
  • Update infrastructure database
  • Create high-quality network diagrams
  • Peer review and validate technical deployment plans
  • Provide constructive feedback to peers to maintain high standards of detail and quality
