Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned DevOps Strategist to join our organization.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining procedures, automation scripts, and infrastructure implementations to support our cloud operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical expertise and leadership to our cloud operations teams.
  • Implement the goals and deliverables of our cloud operations team as determined by organizational leadership.
  • Ensure smooth operations of our cloud-based products.
  • Take ownership of customer implementations, including service level agreements and service level objectives.
  • Automate, enhance, and maintain critical processes in cloud operations.
  • Drive critical processes in cloud operations, including change control, problem management, and reporting.
  • Coordinate focus groups across all teams on process improvements and technical enhancements that lead to better stability and reliability.

Requirements:

  • 15+ years of experience in DevOps or a related field.
  • Strong Linux knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
  • Scripting experience using Bash, Python, PowerShell, etc.
  • Kubernetes, Helm Charts, Terraform, Ansible, and Windows Terminal Services experience.
  • Experience with cloud technology, preferably AWS.
  • Strong networking skills.
  • Certifications in RHEL, Kubernetes, and AWS.

Desired Skills:

  • Hands-on experience in cloud technology – AWS, Azure – AWS preferred.
  • Strong innovation mindset, analytical skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, and experience effectively communicating project/program mission and objectives.
