Credit Strategy Director

The ideal candidate will possess strong financial acumen and a strategic mindset to lead the organization's financial operations during an exciting period of growth.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Credit Strategy Director to join our executive team. The Director will be responsible for overseeing all credit-related aspects of the business, providing strategic guidance, and ensuring robust financial controls and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning & Analysis: Develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies aligned with business objectives, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
  • Credit Strategy & Risk Management: Provide strategic financial analysis and recommendations to the CEO, drive financial modeling for business initiatives, investments, and oversee accounting, treasury, tax, and financial reporting functions.
  • Leadership & Team Development: Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, collaborate with executive leadership on strategic initiatives, present financial results to stakeholders, investors, and board members, and champion financial best practices across the organization.
  • Growth & Investment Management: Support fundraising activities and investor relations, evaluate potential partnerships, acquisitions, and strategic investments, and oversee financial due diligence for business development opportunities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Credit Strategy Director with:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive finance experience with 5+ years in senior leadership roles.
  • Previous CFO or similar C-level financial leadership experience.
  • Strong background in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
  • Proven track record managing teams and driving organizational growth.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial systems and analytics tools.
