Senior Banking Business Analyst Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior Banking Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in banking workflows, hands-on knowledge of loan origination systems, and strong Salesforce platform experience.

The successful candidate will serve as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring the successful implementation, customization, and optimization of banking solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with stakeholders (business owners, product managers) to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for banking solutions.
  • Translate business needs into functional and technical requirements for development teams.
  • Drive end-to-end delivery of banking modules including commercial lending, retail banking, deposit account opening, treasury, and workflow automation.
  • Conduct gap analysis, process mapping, and recommend system enhancements aligned with banking operations.
  • Collaborate with Salesforce admins, developers, architects, and QA teams to ensure proper design and delivery.
  • Configure banking features including credit memo, collateral, document manager, covenant tracking, approval processes, and workflow automation.
  • Support UAT, training, and change management activities.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of experience as a business analyst, with at least 3+ years focused on Salesforce and banking implementations.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial lending, loan origination, treasury management, and banking operations.
  • Hands-on experience in banking modules such as loan origination systems, credit memo, collateral, covenant tracking, deposit account opening, and workflow/approval processes.
  • Expertise in Salesforce CRM (service cloud, sales cloud, communities, lightning).
  • Ability to create user stories, process flows, functional specs, and test cases.
  • Experience with agile/scrum methodology.
  • Strong understanding of data migration, integrations (APIs, middleware), and reporting tools.
Preferred/Good-to-Have:
  • Salesforce certified administrator or business analyst certification.
  • nCino certifications.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance, KYC, AML, and risk management in banking.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, business administration, or related field.
  • Master's degree (MBA/MS) preferred but not required.
