Job Opportunity: Senior Systems Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Systems Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our program team, you will collaborate with us on various responsibilities and apply your expertise to provide valuable support.

  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for the point-of-sale application.
  • Develop business cases, including cost/benefit analysis, for strategic initiatives and special projects.
  • Ensure production data accuracy, integrity, and cleanliness for guest and employee profiles, transactions, etc.
  • Design and optimize monitoring and alerting capabilities across multiple integrations, not limited to point-of-sale systems.
  • Automate report generation in Power BI, Splunk, etc., to obtain meaningful KPIs.
  • Understand the architecture of applications and the technology stack to recommend appropriate strategies to ensure service-level agreements are met.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, QA testers, and IT support staff.
  • Analyze real/actual data for business reporting, project decision-making, and production issues troubleshooting.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A master's degree is an asset.
  • 7+ years of experience in systems analysis, design, and development, with a focus on point-of-sale applications.
  • Proficiency in Oracle databases, including SQL and PL/SQL.
  • Strong experience with AWS infrastructure, including EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, and Terraform.
  • Familiarity with modern development frameworks and languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js.
  • Knowledge of point-of-sale hardware and software integration. XStore POS-related experience is a significant advantage.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong leadership and project management abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Relevant certifications in AWS (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are highly desirable.
