Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Create comprehensive test plans for hardware testing and execute them efficiently.
- Design and develop test cases to validate products and improve the existing testing process.
- Supervise manufacturing processes, ensuring quality work is done in a safe and efficient manner.
- Quality-check vendor-supplied materials and parts.
- Validate system architecture components of IBM servers.
- Develop and automate hardware system tests.
- Maintain end-to-end defect management knowledge.
- Troubleshoot and design improvements for customer/field issues.
- Assemble, solder, and test devices.
- Verify and validate hardware.
- Understand PCB schematics and layouts.
- Familiarity with basic firmware understanding.
- Familiarity with digital measurement instruments like DMM and Oscilloscope.
- Familiarity with automotive domain hardware testing techniques.
- Manage suppliers, procurement, and logistics for the hardware lab.
- Maintain safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with technical teams to create prototypes involving electronics, electrical, and mechanical domains.
- Manage mini assembly lines for post-production activities.
- Support drive testing of various hardware and IoT products by executing test cases.
- Develop innovative product concepts and conduct detailed component research.
- Create comprehensive Bill of Materials (BOM) using Excel Sheets and STERP.
- Assemble and meticulously test circuits.
- Verify PCB layouts and net lists based on provided schematics.
- Establish relationships with vendors for necessary components.
- Create preliminary schematic drawings for products pre-testing.
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure seamless handover of developed products.
