Reliability Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Reliability Specialist to join our team.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have experience in designing scalable monitoring solutions and collaborating with development teams to ensure system reliability on AWS. Additionally, the successful candidate will contribute to platform engineering projects, assist in disaster recovery planning, and participate in post-incident reviews.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and Implement Monitoring Solutions: Develop and implement scalable monitoring solutions to ensure availability and performance of backend services.
  2. Collaborate with Development Teams: Work closely with development teams to design reliable systems on AWS and ensure seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
  3. Contribute to Platform Engineering Projects: Assist in developing automated solutions for deployment, scaling, and operations, as well as contribute to platform engineering projects that enhance overall system reliability.
  4. Assist in Disaster Recovery Planning: Participate in DR testing and provide recommendations for improvement.
  5. Analyze System Performance: Analyze system performance and identify areas for optimization, providing actionable recommendations to improve system efficiency.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a relevant role, such as Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar.
  • Basic understanding of AWS solutions including EC2, S3, CloudWatch, Lambda, and RDS.
  • Interest and understanding of Platform Engineering concepts and principles.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
