Job Title: Process Simulations and OTS Design Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Process Simulations and OTS Design Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and validating process simulations using tools such as Aspen Plus, Aspen HYSYS, and HTRI.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and validate process simulations using industry-leading software.
  • Model building, tuning, and integration of models in OTS software and other applications.
  • Simulate all normal operations, including hot or cold start-up and complete or partial shutdown operations.
  • Perform detailed Heat and Mass Balance (HMB) calculations and hydraulic analysis across various process systems.
  • Execute equipment sizing for unit operations such as distillation columns, heat exchangers, evaporators, separators, and pumps.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Implementation experience in simulation software like Petro-Sim, MIMIC, OmegaLand, UniSim Design, ASPEN HYSYS, DYNSIM, and Aveva.
  • Design to Commissioning experience on simulation projects, including process modeling, DCS integration, OTS, scenario training, model testing, FAT, MAT, and PDET.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in automation systems in the Chemical, Petro-chemical, Oil And Gas, and Pharmaceutical domains.
  • Generating documentation such as FDS, DDS, MAT, and FAT procedures.
  • Deep understanding of separation technologies, including distillation, extraction, evaporation, chemical reactions, adsorption, pervaporation, etc.
