Technical Consultant Position Overview

The purpose of this role is to provide technical expertise in the implementation and support of Dynamics 365 solutions.

  • Conduct requirement gathering sessions with stakeholders to identify business needs and objectives.
  • Develop technical design documents that outline the architecture and infrastructure required to meet the business requirements.
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure seamless integration of custom and third-party solutions.
  • Have a strong understanding of solution architecture, data entities, system administration, project deployment with LCS and Azure DevOps.
  • Design and develop database tables, views, stored procedures, and indexes to support complex reporting and analytics requirements.
  • Implement data entity extensions and develop event handlers to integrate with external systems.
  • Develop RESTful web APIs and OData entities to enable seamless data exchange between systems.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to define and implement effective testing strategies and quality assurance processes.
  • Deliver high-quality solutions on time, budget, and within scope, using creative problem-solving skills and innovative thinking.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar technical consultant role.
  • Strong knowledge of Dynamics 365, including X++, AOS, Server, and Client layers.
  • Experience with data entity development, event handling, and data integration using various connectors.
  • Understanding of cloud-based technologies such as Azure DevOps and LCS.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
