Placement Officer Job Description

The role involves leading placement initiatives for trainees and ensuring strong industry absorption.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Building partnerships with HR leaders and recruiters across Finance, Consulting, BFSI, IT, and EdTech industries.
  2. Organizing campus drives, interviews, and placement events.
  3. Managing dashboards, hiring trackers, and alumni networks while onboarding corporate partners for training, internships, and hiring collaborations.
  4. Designing proposals, MoUs, and frameworks tailored to corporate needs.
  5. Representing the organization at networking events and supporting business development by generating B2B opportunities, executive education leads, and consulting projects.
  6. Conducting resume workshops, mock GD/PI, and industry talks.
  7. Connecting trainees with mentors and alumni and gathering employer feedback to refine curriculum and placement preparation.
  8. Preparing weekly and monthly reports, tracking openings through CRM databases, and sharing placement and corporate engagement insights with leadership.
