About this opportunity:

We are seeking a seasoned automation professional with 5+ years of experience in test automation and quality assurance. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on enterprise-level applications, lead automation initiatives, and contribute to a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Cypress and JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Audit and validate backend services through automated REST API testing using Rest Assured.
  • Implement and maintain BDD frameworks like Cucumber.
  • Lead test planning, execution, and reporting for complex web applications.
  • Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams in Agile environments.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Bamboo.
  • Use version control systems like GitHub.

Required Skills:

  • Strong expertise in Cypress and Selenium.
  • Proficiency in Java, SQL, and API testing.
  • Experience with MongoDB, Snowflake, Maven, and Git.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and test lifecycle management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
  • ISTQB or equivalent QA certifications.
  • Experience mentoring junior testers or leading small QA teams.
