Job Title:

Fiscal Operations Manager

Lead the management of day-to-day financial activities, encompassing accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger administration.

  • Evaluate and execute efficient financial processes to ensure compliance with GAAP and local tax regulations.
  • Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports for senior management, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
  • Implement cash flow monitoring, investment management, and forecasting strategies to optimize financial performance.
  • Develop and manage budgets in collaboration with cross-functional departments.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management
  • Oversight of daily financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger management.
  • Preparation and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports to senior management.
  • Cash flow monitoring, investment management, and cash forecasting.
  • Budgeting process management and cross-functional departmental budget planning support.
Accounting & Compliance
  • Ensure adherence to GAAP and local tax regulations.
  • Timely and accurate filing of all GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, GSTR-9C etc).
  • Handling GST audits, assessments, and departmental notices.
  • Timely and accurate filing of income tax returns.
  • Statutory and Tax audit management, ensuring timely responses within deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge of transfer pricing compliance and documentation.
  • Timely and accurate filing of forms and returns with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (e.g., MGT-7, AOC-4, DIR-3 KYC etc).
  • Timely and accurate filing with RBI (e.g., FLA return, FC-TRS etc).
  • Maintenance of documentation and records for all FEMA-related transactions.
  • Internal and external audit coordination.
  • Accurate and up-to-date accounting record maintenance.
  • Implementation and monitoring of internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Strategic Support
  • Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Collaboration with senior management on financial planning and risk management.
  • Evaluation of financial performance by comparing actual results with plans and forecasts.
  • Ad-hoc projects and analysis as needed.
Team Leadership
  • Supervision and mentorship of accounting staff.
  • Continuous improvement in financial processes and systems.
  • Training of staff on financial systems and compliance requirements.
