Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing legal advice and guidance to support the development of infrastructure projects.

  • Main Responsibilities:
    • Review and negotiate contracts for supply and service agreements, EPC agreements, O&M agreements, tender and bidding documents, HR & admin-related service contracts, transmission and utility contracts, international contracts, NDAs, MOUs, standard T&Cs, and financing contracts.
    • Ensure legal and commercial risk mitigation, compliance with applicable laws, and alignment with internal policies.
    • Provide legal opinions on bidding strategy and compliance, Right of Way (RoW) and land acquisition, Transmission Service Agreements (TSAs), Share Purchase Agreements (SPAs), indemnity claims, and contractual payment disputes.
    • Conduct land-related legal due diligence and title verification for project development.
    • Evaluate risks associated with land procurement and RoW.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Requirements:
    • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
    • A strong understanding of contract law and negotiation techniques.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
