Job Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced MEP Engineer to work on a variety of projects in Visakhapatnam, India.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and developing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, with experience in high-rise building projects preferred.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating detailed designs, overseeing project implementation, and evaluating existing systems to recommend improvements.

The successful candidate must have excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Development: Create detailed designs for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, ensuring efficiency, reliability, and compliance with building codes and standards.
  • Project Management: Oversee the implementation of designs, ensuring timely completion.
  • System Analysis: Evaluate existing systems and recommend improvements to enhance performance and reduce costs.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work with architects, project managers, and other engineers to integrate MEP systems into overall project plans, and effectively communicate with teams and stakeholders.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of HVAC design, electrical circuit design, plumbing system design, and building codes.
  • Software Proficiency: Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in MEP engineering, with experience in high-rise building projects preferred.

Specific Requirements for High-Rise Buildings:

  • High-Rise Building Experience: Familiarity with designing and executing MEP systems for high-rise buildings, considering factors like vertical transportation, fire safety, and energy efficiency.
  • System Integration: Ability to integrate MEP systems with other building systems, ensuring seamless functionality and efficiency.
  • Safety and Risk Management: Knowledge of safety protocols and risk management strategies to ensure a safe working environment.
