Senior Observability Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Observability Engineer to design and implement scalable observability platforms across hybrid/multi-cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Platform Design: Develop secure and resilient synthetic monitoring platforms that ensure high availability and reliability.
  2. Dynatrace Adoption: Lead the adoption of Dynatrace APM with standardized instrumentation and deployment models, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  3. Telemetry Integration: Develop onboarding strategies for cloud, hybrid, and edge telemetry sources, delivering unified insights and optimized performance.
  4. Solution Evaluation: Evaluate emerging technologies and develop custom synthetic monitoring solutions that meet business needs.
  5. Open-Source Contributions: Contribute to open-source or internal observability tooling/standards, driving innovation and collaboration.
  6. Cross-Team Collaboration: Drive documentation, training, and cross-team knowledge sharing, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • 5-7 years of hands-on experience with Dynatrace and Synthetic Monitoring.
  • Strong expertise in AWS (EC2, EKS, Lambda).
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing observability solutions.
  • Familiarity with other monitoring/observability tools is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration, and communication skills.
