Job Title: Data Analyst/Scientist

Overview:

The role of a senior data analyst is crucial in ensuring the integrity and quality of client and product data. As part of the Configurations Team, this position will provide clear and concise reports and analysis to the Operations Team, Management, and Executive/Regulatory groups.

Responsibilities:
  • Utilize tools such as SQL Server, Tableau, Microsoft Access and Microsoft Excel to provide end user reports and display of current status of the project.
  • Assist with deep data analysis to locate and identify various aspects of the Client reporting requirements.
  • Maintain knowledge of the department and industry specific process and procedures, including regulatory knowledge impacting Capital markets.
  • Collaborate with the Data Integrity team to ensure operational practices are in compliance with relevant risk standards, policies and regulations to maintain an effective control environment.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of Institutional Investment Operations experience
  • MBA or an advanced degree (or equivalent experience)
  • Finance related experience &/or equivalent number of years of data analysis utilizing tools such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, SQL Server, Oracle
  • Deep understanding of reference data hierarchy and regulatory knowledge impacting Capital markets
  • Self-starter with the ability to challenge status quo & improve quality of delivery /output
  • Excellent presentation skills, effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Build, maintain & nurture relationship with global senior stakeholders
