Cloud Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based systems and infrastructure.

  • Propose and implement advanced cloud architectures in continuous alignment with key cloud providers such as AWS and Google.
  • Build and set up new development tools and infrastructure.
  • Support the continuous evolution of the client's infrastructure as code approach, ensuring advanced levels of automation throughout the lifecycle of all workloads.
  • Ensure there are no single points of failure in the infrastructure.
  • Continuously improve efficiency when setting up new cloud infrastructure and maintaining existing instances, ensuring automation, resilience, and security.
  • Build the bridge between Security and DevOps teams.
  • Play a pivotal part in the implementation of security recommendations, while supporting sales, compliance and delivery in the context of Audits and RFPs.
">Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience with Docker.
  • Experience with Linux systems management.
  • Proven experience in Kubernetes.
  • Experience with Git, GitHub, BitBucket or Stash.
  • Experience with CI and CD tools (Jenkins, Bamboo or similar).
  • Solid experience with at least a programming/scripting language (Python, Ruby, Bash, GO, Java, Node.js, PHP).
  • Experience with application and system monitoring tools (such as Datadog, Splunk, Dynatrace, Grafana, Prometheus, ElasticSearch, Kibana).
  • Experience in the configuration, management and troubleshooting of web servers (Apache, NGINX), database systems (SQL and NoSQL), caching (Cassandra, Redis, Memcache or others) and queues (RabbitMQ, ZeroMQ or similar).
  • Experience working as a DevSecOps or Cloud Engineer in an agile and fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in a continuous integration/deploy environment.
  • Experience with AWS.
  • Automation experience in the context of a microservice/SOA architecture.
