Technical Project Designer

Seeking a technically strong Architectural Designer with extensive workplace interiors project experience.
- Collaborate with Senior Designers and other design staff to troubleshoot and provide technical solutions for design challenges
- Review engineering and MEP consultant's work to ensure compliance with design solution and timely submission of documents
- Respond to RFIs and RFQs
- Evaluate and implement design solutions that meet budget requirements
- Execute drawings for tender, drawing detailing and construction documentation
- Oversight of CD production and review for smaller projects
- Create a master log of project submittals
- Ensure design complies with all applicable building codes and standards
To be successful in this role, you will deliver complex projects with minimal conflict or revisions. You will mentor junior staff, sharing your expertise on technical coordination aspects of a project. A confident communicator, you will effectively collaborate with a team of creative professionals.
- 4-5 years' experience working in a Workplace Design and/or Architecture firm in a similar capacity
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field (Master's preferred)
- Experience with entire project lifecycle
- Portfolio of technically complex corporate designs
- Able to generate concepts for workplace environments using advanced skills in software tools
- Leadership skills to successfully lead project teams through project delivery: design details, construction documents, construction administration and site lead
- Possess strong architectural design and planning skills
