ServiceNow IT Operations Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Operations Management specialist to join our team.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, developing, and implementing technical solutions on the ServiceNow platform for ITOM, CMDB, CSDM, Discovery, Service Maps, Event/Alert Management, Asset Management, Performance Analytics, AIOps, Predictive Intelligence, and Integration Hub.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop technical solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Capture requirements from business stakeholders through demonstrations and workshops.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for user story development, configurations, and timely delivery.
  • Configure modules, develop custom solutions as required through scripting and software development.
  • Prepare high-level design (HLD) and low-level design (LLD), architecture design, and technical documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 5+ years of experience in IT software, custom app development, and ServiceNow implementations.
  • Hands-on developer experience in scripting, unit testing of NOW platform features, system integrations (REST/SOAP).
  • Expert knowledge on configuring CMDB, CSDM model, configure Discovery, Service Mappings with Impact, Root Cause Analysis.
  • Deep understanding of REST, WSDL, JSON, and ability to integrate with third-party applications, data sources.
  • Experience with Performance Analytics, Predictive Intelligence, and designing KPI-driven Reporting & Dashboards.

Desired Credentials / Knowledge:

Prior experience with the following certifications or knowledge areas would be beneficial:

  • CIS-ITOM, CIS-Discovery, CIS-CMDB, CIS-Event / CSA
  • NOW Platform Development & Implementation
  • ITIL Certified (optional)
