Job Title: Construction Contracts Manager

This position is responsible for overseeing and managing construction contracts from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have experience in cost management, communication skills, and sound contracts administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate project documentation for all claim-related matters
  • Familiarize with Employer's requirements based on the intent of the package-wise Conditions of Contract and project schedule agreed in the contract
  • Identify any changes to the project scope, schedule, and cost, ensuring timely notification to the employer for approval
  • Track submitted claims letters individually and prepare contractual justification referring to contractual conditions and supporting documents
  • Prepare Contractual reply/request to the employer for claim approval
  • Prepare Claim documents
  • Prepare detailed claim statement for submission to DAAB
  • Present the claim status to the Advocate and take the next level of dispute resolution
  • Update claim status to RO/HO
  • Coordinate with the project team to gather required details/input
  • Prepare Comprehensive EOT application substantiating with contemporary records and references
  • Ensure claims raised by the project team are substantiated with Contract entitlements according to Conditions of clause
  • Provide input to the DAAB committee and advocate for arbitration until the issue is resolved

Requirements:

  • B.E./B.Tech In Civil Engineering or Similar Certification courses
  • 10 to 20 Years Experience
  • Effective Cost Management and Communication skills
  • Good knowledge & experience in the standard method of measurements
  • Sound contracts administration and Management skills
  • Capable of monitoring the Cost control techniques
  • Good at project Commercial Management skills
