Electrical Engineer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled electrical engineer to join our team. As an ideal candidate, you will have a good understanding of various electronics/electrical components and be able to contribute to the development of efficient engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate electrical products and systems by designing testing methods
  • Work on obsolescence activities to qualify replacements, perform testing to qualify and release in the system along with documentation
  • End-to-end ownership: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and qualify engineering solutions
  • Rapidly generate design concepts that will develop into detailed drawings to manufacture those concepts
  • Participate in design reviews to present designs throughout different phases of design and development

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical/electronics with 3-5 years of experience
  • Master's degree preferred with 1 year of experience
  • Comfortable working with US-based timings

Essential Skills:

  • Good understanding of electronics components, schematics/system interconnect
  • Select and recommend components depending upon application and circuit requirements
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Critical/system-level thinking
  • Good project management skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working on part lifecycle management, change orders using any PLM system
  • Experience working on electronic components obsolescence
  • Understanding of PCB and components
  • Hands-on experience testing electronics components - bench-level test and system-level test
  • Hands-on experience with AUTOCAD/Zuken/PCAD software
