Electrical Design Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team as a Switchgear/Switchboards Specialist. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing mechanical structures, enclosures, and layouts for switchgear/switchboards that integrate seamlessly with electrical systems.
About the Role:- Develop detailed designs for enclosures, busbar supports, frames, and layouts for switchgear/switchboards, ensuring compliance with UL, CSA, and IEC standards.
- Create 2D/3D CAD models, fabrication drawings, and BOMs using AutoCAD and SolidWorks, collaborating with electrical designers to provide fully integrated solutions.
- Lead assigned design tasks independently without step-by-step supervision, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality designs.
- Design and Development: Create detailed designs for switchgear/switchboards, including enclosures, busbar supports, frames, and layouts, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
- CAD Modeling and Drawing: Develop 2D/3D CAD models, fabrication drawings, and Bill of Materials (BOMs) using Autodesk AutoCAD and Dassault Systèmes SolidWorks, ensuring accuracy and precision.
- Collaboration and Leadership: Collaborate with electrical designers to provide fully integrated solutions, leading assigned design tasks independently without step-by-step supervision, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality designs.
